The Tree Branch is an item that appears in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It can be found on the ground in forested areas of Hyrule, such as the Forest of Spirits on the Great Plateau or within the Korok Forest in the Great Hyrule Forest region. Like the Deku Sticks from Ocarina of Time, the tree branch can be also be used as a torch to light campfires or just as a simple torch, although it will burn up after some time.

Bokoblins can occasionally be encountered wielding them, most notably on the path that leads from the Shrine of Resurrection to the Old Man's campfire, to the Temple of Time. Unarmed Bokoblins, Lizalfos, and Moblins may also use it as a weapon, if they are unarmed and there are no other weapons around. The tree branch is also a one-handed weapon, allowing Link to be able to use his shield when he has the tree branch wielded.

Weapon Stats Edit

The tree branch can be used as a melee weapon if the player chooses to do so. It is also one of the earliest weapons that Link can obtain in the game. However, the tree branch only has a base attack power of 2 and has a very low durability and will break easily. Like other wooden weapons in the game, it will also burn up in the hot regions of Hyrule, such as Death Mountain if Link has the tree branch out.
